Start the Win2k Computer Management tool from the Control Panel -> Administrative Tools and click on disk management. The image below shows the new disk shown as unallocated. (The new disk is shown first here because Disk 1 is a SCSI disk)

Right click on the disk and select Create Partition to start the Create Partition Wizard. Follow the settings on the next 5 screens to configure your disk. Obviously the sizes shown in the second image will be different, but the process is the same. The most important settings are those on the 4th screen where the filesystem to use MUST be FAT32 - 4k is a recommended cluster size, you should be able to use anything up to 64k for this value. I would suggest not using default in case it picks a value above 64k.





Click Finish. The program will format the disk in the background - you can see the status updating on the main screen. Once complete it should look something the image below, now you can copy your files to be played into the root directory.
